Pegedil/Begedil is a Malay name for mashed potato shaped into patties, coated with eggs and fried. It’s a popular side snack sold everywhere at Malay hawker stalls or food courts in Malaysia and Singapore.
It is also one of my all-time favorite comfort food, and one of my favorites dishes to serve to people, because it’s just so good, everyone loves it.
