Living alone in NYC was one of the best experiences I’d ever had in my life, and I wouldn’t change a thing. And if anyone asked me to only name ONE of my favorite NYC moments, it’s got to be the day my friend Zowa (Ellie) and I stood in line in the middle of winter, freezing every part of our body to get tickets to Spring Awakening. It was crazy. I vaguely remember Zowa saying something about needing to write a paper on a Broadway show for her class at St Johns, and me quickly going…owh awesome…we should see Spring Awakening!
