Beef Lasagna
Here is another one of my favorite recipe dish I would like to share. It’s always a hit whenever I make it. Ingredients 2 tbs olive oil 1 lb. ground lean beef 1 cup diced onion 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped 1 cup water 12 oz. tomato paste 1 lb. canned whole tomatoes, preferably plum (or 3-1/2 lbs. ripe tomatoes, peeled seeded, and chopped) 2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. dried basil 1/2 tsp. oregano, dried 1/4 tsp. black pepper 2  bay leaves 1 lb. ricotta cheese (part-skim is fine) 1 egg 1 lb. mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced or shredded 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese lasagne noodles (anywhere from 8-16 oz. depending on how many noodles you like in your lasagna) Preparation Combine ricotta cheese and egg and set aside.
